BASTROP, TX – The First National Bank of Bastrop (FNB) announces seasoned executive Stephen Lee as new President and CEO of the locally owned and independent community bank. Lee has over 30 years of banking experience, including the past 17 as President and CEO of First Financial Bank in SE Texas. Lee was promoted to South Texas Area Banking Executive with expanded management responsibilities of four regional banks in 2022. He is expected to join FNB at the beginning of May.

Current CEO and President Reid Sharp, who will remain in his role as Chairman of the Board, led a thoughtful and thorough 10-month search to find the right leader for FNB.
