American Bank of Commerce (ABC Bank) has announced that Stephen Phillips joined the bank as its new president and CEO. ABC Bank serves businesses and individuals from a dozen banking centers in Texas and Colorado.

His impressive background includes roles such as Chief Credit and Risk Officer, Chief Banking Officer, and President. Stephen’s expertise will ensure the continued success and growth of our bank in the markets we serve.”
Prior to joining ABC Bank, Phillips was president of United Texas Bank Dallas, and earlier spent approximately 15 years with regional First United Bank, ultimately serving as its president. Phillips earned undergraduate and MPA degrees from the University of Austin, and attended the Southwest School of Banking at SMU. He is a Certified Public Accountant. He and his wife have two teenaged children.
